Ariel Villanea
Growing up in the San Jose, Costa Rica and Los Angeles, California neighborhoods, Ariel was exposed to many things in his life from violence to drugs to every day crime. Ariel grew up his whole life with a love for doing the 'proper' thing and a deep disgust for bad influences in life. Ariel has always tried to be a good example to people around him. When he got his job at 18 and his house at 19, he began hanging out with various people that he knew during high school. As he began to meet more people, he began realizing that this county, which he had been living in for five years now was actually filled with terrible influences for the kids he had come to know as his closest friends. Meeting people through people and again through other people, Ariel finally decided that he disliked the influences these kids had.
Ariel now uses his own home to give the kids he watches over a safe place to be and hang out at, whether it be on the weekends or all of spring break. With parental permission, of course. With his influence, many of the kids have actually grown into adults and have begun helping him as well. 18 year olds that truly do care about their younger friends, their friends' younger siblings and those siblings friends, the chain goes on. Ariel likes to think of the entire group of kids as his own family and he makes sure that the kids and their parents understand that unless they're proven to be any kind of bad influence on the others, these kids are always welcome to his own home.
