"Our world of Aegra was once ruled by the Mystic Order. At this time, the world was a hallway that linked all other realms. Beings of all kinds came into this world for a long time to travel between realms, but as magic practices began to fade, Aegra became rather under populated.

Given time, Aegra soon became an empty hallway with only the beings within the Mystic Order. Upon this time, Botan, the Mystic of Order became corrupted by her lover, Eskurito, the Mystic of Darkness.

Eskurito convinced Botan that the order of the Aegra was no longer balanced with the lack of visitors and the rapid decline of magic use within all the other realms. Together, they decided to seal all the links to all other realms and let Aegra become its own balanced realm.

Many of the mystics had issues with this, it was their belief that it was not their place to determine the balance of Aegra or disrupt the link between Aegra and the other realms. But Eskurito and Botan had many Mystics under their influence at this point and the Mystic War began.

The titanic war raged for a long period of time before many of the Mystics were sealed away along with nearly all of the links between Aegra and the other realms. Eskurito and Botan abducted a group of humans from another realm and thus, Aegra became its own world, ruled by magic."
